Lake Como
Bliss
Travelling briefly through Milan, I stopped at Lake Como before a tidy ski adventure in Bormio and Lovinio, in Italy.
I didn’t spend a lot of time in Milan, so I can’t really say I’ve given it a fair chance, but on brief inspection, it wasn’t my favourite city in Italy. – To be fair, it’s not my least favourite either, but I don’t think I can judge it fairly due to only spending a few days there.
Lake Como, on the other hand, was absolutely beautiful. Definitely, worth a stop off for a couple of hours or a couple of days, it’s one of the most beautiful lakes I think I’ve had the pleasure of seeing.
It had a certain romance about it that’s hard to find.
Even with travelling with a couple of blokes it still had a charm about it, making you want to hear wooing music and stroll hand in hand down cobbled streets, or dip your toes in the crystal blueness of the water (none of which I did with my mates mind you..).
You might be lucky enough to get there with a lover and also be captivated by its beauty together..
